dreamTAP is an ultra-comfortable oral appliance for the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea that we can customise for you in our lab. Designed with hardware on its exterior, dreamTAP offers greater tongue space with no obstructions. dreamTAP comes with three hook sizes and offers 15mm of horizontal protrusion range with an adjustment key to allow you or your patient to adjust the protrusion of the lower jaw in 5mm increments. The dreamTAP Mouth Shield attaches to the hardware and sits inside the lips, reducing flow through the mouth and promoting nasal breathing to improve treatment outcomes.

Dorsal Appliances
The Dorsal Appliance is one of the most widely used appliances for sleep apnoea and snoring as it was the first of its kind to have a two-piece design with the upper and lower components separated. This distinguishing characteristic along with its lateral fin design provides excellent comfort while minimising side effects because the upper and lower components can move independently of each other during mandibular movement, thus significantly reducing forces on teeth. This freedom of movement allows patients with sleep apnoea to easily open and close their mouths, talk, and sip water with the appliance on. The lateral fins maintain the mandible in a forward position even when patients open their mouths. With the upper and lower components separate, the Dorsal Appliance minimises dislodging forces and retention issues.

Open vertical relationship while maintaining the mandible in the desired forward position with its precision-milled upper and lower occlusal splints. With the laser-marked arrow and upward direction of the screw protrusion on both sides clearly visible, flawless activation can be achieved (1mm of calibration is produced with 4 adjustments). Right and left upper screws showcase a one-of-a-kind and perfectly inclined (70 degrees) anterior metallic body. Ensure proper friction and stability during forward movement with its screw mechanism’s built-in stops. Offer superior comfort as it is shaped perfectly to fit the right anatomical position with right and left lower wings matching the upper screw bodies. Any orthodontic acrylic is fully compatible with its clear material plus you can strengthen the lower appliance with its inner metallic frame’s ability to be anatomically adapted. With a 4mm interincisal opening, 65% to 75% advance can be achieved. CRITICAL POINT: Mandible should be included when construction bite is taken.
